road and track race edit
the 10 mile run is not held exclusively on the road. the AAA Championships held a 10 mile track race championship from 1880 to 1972 and I was looking for an appropriate page to link to when mentioning that event. So I am asking any editor interested in this page whether they think we should expand this article to include track races of 10 miles, or should we have a separate article for 10 miles on the track. in the absence of any objection I have gone ahead and expanded the article to include track races, but I only have performance data for men, and at this point I don't even know when women started running ten miles on the track. Cottonshirtτ 10:41, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
