There are a lot of claims in the article that don't show up at all in the references. Per the firearms projects, extraordinary claims must be sourced. In the absence of sources, it makes it look like original research, which of course we want to avoid. Can someone help find citations, for example concerning the "cleaning" issue. I'm suspicious of this claim because it relies on saying that it's an extreme velocity, but such problems are not occurring with other rifles that have much higher velocities. Also the reference to a 115 grain bullet moving at 3600+ ft/sec being an "acceptable pressure". It'd be good to have a number and a source for that, because from what I can tell, it's not accurate. Bullet diameter edit
I removed the "Specifications" section of the article until I can verify the information that had been listed in it. First off, the section stated most 6 mm calibers use .244" diameter bullets, but that is incorrect; they actually use .243" bullets. Secondly, I will do more research, but in the first two pages I checked I have found information that contradicts statements given in the article about the .244 H&H Magnum using .245" bullets, thereby causing confusion for hand-loaders. The first two pages I read said the .244 H&H Magnum uses the standard .243" bullets. Once I do more research, I will edit the article to reflect my findings and will include references to the material I find.--KySharpshooter (talk) 22:52, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
