Ljusić and Veselinović pseudohistorical book edit

Those two with that pop-literature, pseudohistorical claptrap for the masses, written to give credence to nationalistic identity and culture (mis)appropriation, making all South-Slavic noblemen and every noble family that ever lived in the Balkans, from Croatia to Albania and Macedonia, via Bosnia and Montenegro, Serb(ian), simply can't pass muster. And simple it is, because their claims are in contradiction with years and volumes of research and writings of just about every serious medievalist that ever worked in any of the Balkans academic institution, beginning with Serbian historians, especially younger generations, who reject nationalistic myth-making and reject misappropriation of other, separate, South-Slavic cultures and identities into homogenous idealized nationalistic fold, who reject anachronistic preconception and application of modern ethnic and national identity, which is used by party cadre historians and ideologically driven academics, to label medieval people who lived in age when such concept did not exist. Ljusić especially, is rejected by his own peers at SANU, as a nationalist and right-winger whose work is nothing but ideologically centered demagoguery, which serves greater national cause. ౪ Santa ౪99° 15:04, 4 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
