Sven Smajlagić (born 5 June 1990) is a Croatian professional basketball player for Basket Mestre of the Italian third-tier Serie B Basket League. He has played also professionally in Lithuania, France, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia and Slovenia.[1][2] In 2010–11 he played in the Euroleague with Cibona.[3]

Smajlagić has played for the Croatia's Under-16 and Under-18 national team.[4][5][6]
Personal life edit
Smajlagić is the son of former handball player Irfan Smajlagić[7] who won gold in the 1996 Summer Olympics with Croatia.[8]
