Steve Larson
Steve Larson (AKA "Larson") is the former lead guitarist for Lime Green, Dead Hot Workshop (1987–97), Dialectrics, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers (1999–2009), and now plays in his own band, Steve Larson Band.
Larson has opened for many artists solo and with the Steve Larson Band, including Shooter Jennings, Hank III, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Reckless Kelly, Billy Joe Shaver, and Hans Olson.
Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers
In 1999, Steve Larson joined a newly formed band, The Peacemakers, which was forming out of the ashes of another local Phoneix band, The Refreshments. It wasn't until the band's first CD was in print that he, bassist Danny White, and guitarist Scott Johnson had learned the band had changed its name to Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. Though touring throughout the US and parts of Mexico, Larson, White, and Johnson began to lose interest in the group, citing that they did not feel like everyone in the band were equals. Larson played his last show in Rocky Point, Mexico at the end of January 2009.
When interviewed more than a year after his departure, Larson said of his time with the band, "After you dig through all of the carnage, drama, ego meltdowns and money issues, the truth is that the band never fit my style. I was a rock guitarist in a novelty pop band."
Steve Larson Band
Larson now plays in his own band, which is based in Phoenix, AZ. The band, Steve Larson Band, was first established in 2005.
