Starks is an unincorporated area in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, United States located approximately 30 miles (48 km) north west of Lake Charles about 6 miles (9.7 km) from the Texas/Louisiana border. Starks is well known for its annual Mayhaw Festival to celebrate the fruit that grows in the bayous along the Texas/Louisiana border.
