Račice-Pístovice is a municipality in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,200 inhabitants.

Račice-Pístovice lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) west of Vyškov, 21 km (13 mi) north-east of Brno, and 199 km (124 mi) south-east of Prague.
Administrative parts edit
The municipality is made up of the villages of Račice and Pístovice.
History edit
The first written mention about Račice is from 1227 and about Pístovice is from 1375. Račice and Pístovice were merged into one municipality in 1960.[2]
