Palina Glebova (born 19 September 1996 in Moscow) is a German taekwondo athlete and Guinness World Record holder.[1]

World Records

Since November 2023, Glebova holds the Guinness World Record for throwing the most darts into a dartboard with one foot in one minute (she successfully threw nine darts, scoring 110 points).[2][3][4][5]

She holds six additional world records recognized by the German Record Institute:[6][7][8]

  • Broke the most boards in thirty seconds with a jumped front kick (achieved 13 boards).
  • Broke the most boards in thirty seconds in a mixed team of two people.
  • Broke the most boards in one minute with a jumped front kick (achieved 23 boards).
  • Broke the most aerated concrete blocks with a raw egg in hand without breaking the egg (achieved four intact eggs).
  • Burst the most balloons in one minute by throwing darts with one foot from a distance of three metres (achieved 16 ballons).
  • Threw the most darts into a dartboard with one foot in one minute (achieved seven darts).

Taekwondo career

Glebova began practising the Korean martial art taekwondo at the age of ten.[9] At junior level, Glebova achieved several podium places in full-contact (kyorugi) competitions at both regional and state championships. She has been an active poomsae athlete since she was a junior and has reached the podium several times.

As a senior, Glebova has continuously medalled since 2012, her highest national placement being fourth at a German national ranking tournament.[10] In June 2021, Glebova became a national kyorugi referee for Germany. She is also a poomsae state judge in Schleswig-Holstein.[6][11]

Public appearances

Since 2021, Glebova is a recurring guest at ZDF-Fernsehgarten, where she performs taekwondo kicks and world records.[8][12]

In 2021, Glebova appeared in the music video of the pop song "Siamo fatti cosi" by Anthony Bauer jr. and Rocco Costa.[13]

Education

Glebova completed an apprenticeship as International Administration Manager, specialising in Office Management, in 2020 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies in 2022.[14][15]
