Pain Taleqan Rural District (Persian: دهستان پائين طالقان) is in the Central District of Taleqan County, Alborz province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Shahrasar.[3]

At the census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Taleqan District of Savojbolagh County, Tehran province) was 6,018 in 1,875 households.[4]
In October 2010, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Taleqan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Taleqan as its capital and only city.[3]
In the most recent census of 2016, the rural's district's population was 3,660 in 1,449 households, by which time the county had become a part of the newly established Alborz province.[5] The most populous of its 30 villages was Sang Bon, with 442 people.[2]
