The Old Main Library was a public library building in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Initially built to be an opera house, the building was sold before completion to the Cincinnati Public Library in 1868, due to the owning company's bankruptcy. It opened in 1870 before being fully completed, in 1874. The Old Main was demolished in 1955 after the library moved to its current location.[1]
