Plot

edit

The game is set in the year 2095, where robot billionaires have taken over the world, and humans are addicted to dopamine. Players assume the role of Jack, a Moderator hired by Peace Corp. to rescue the "Influencer Princess" from a skyscraper filled with killer robots in exchange for a new pair of shoes.[2]

Jack has 10 seconds to navigate each floor, with extra time awarded for kills. Upon death, Jack restarts from the last checkpoint with all upgrades reset. Players can acquire upgrades and weapons between floors.[3]

The game received a score of 89 on Metacritic.[4]

Zack Zwiezen of Kotaku said that "It's even better that the game is one of 2024's best, thanks to its solid world-building, awesome visuals, and incredibly fast action."[9]
