Hi,

Could you kindly explain why you are changing the map file location to an incorrect map?

This effects thousands of pages. Please reconsider and discuss before making discussion that effects all of Somalia. Hurbad (talk) 00:33, 24 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

user:dabaqabad this is the module map for Somalia. if you would like to use a different map other than the 2009 one. plesee make a different map module. as per the agreement with comms admin when they split the maps into two. Thank you Hurbad (talk) 09:23, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

user:dabaqabad and user:siirski are vandalising the page and changing long held consensus. This map file has been the same and unchanged since 2009 but these users want to change the module file which effects hundreds of pages relating to somalia/somaliland. Could you kindly place this page as protected to stop other users from editing.

There was a comms dispute and the comms admin was kind enough to split the map so that those who held different views could use it. Similar that they've done in other places like India. This change then later led to them changing the entire module file and effecting hundreds of pages.

These same users have also disturbed other maps such as - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Diplomatic_missions_of_Somalia.png and deleting sources without using talkpage and building consensus.

Could you kindly place this page in protection to avoid any changes made to the original map. If users want to use different maps then are more than happy to use using the different map file created by the helpful admins of Comms. This map is used by other default pages and has been used since 2009, the changes would be damaging to every page in multiple languages.
