Milton Steven Owor is a Ugandan human resource manager, corporate executive, predictive index psychometric analyst, Human resource consultant, and a certified professional executive coach.[1][2][3][4] He is the Chief People and Culture Officer on the management of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Uganda.[2][1][5] He is a board member of the Sprout Capital Investments.[3] Owor is the president of Rotary Club of Kampala Maisha.[6]

Owor holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Public administration from Makerere University, Master of Business Administration in Strategic Human Resource Management from University of Leicester in UK, a certification in Global Business Leadership from INSEAD in France.[1][4][7][8] He is a certified Predictive Index Psychometric Analyst.[1] He also holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree (Hons) from Makerere University.[4]
Owor was Certified as Professional Executive Coach by the Coach Masters Academy, Singapore.[4]
Owor is a professional Coach who is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).[3]
Career edit
Owor worked with British American Tobacco (BAT) in late 1990s as the regional human resource director for East and Southern Africa, he also served at BAT as the regional HR director for West and central Africa.[1][8][9]
In early 2000, Milton worked with Royal Dutch Shell as the Regional Human Resource Director Anglophone Africa.[8][9] In mid 2000s, Owor served as the Africa Human Resource Director for General Electric. East Africa.[8][9][10]
In 2016, Owor served as a human resource consultant at Miphad business and human resources.[9]
In February 2017, Owor was appointed as the Head of Human Resources and Administration at NSSF Uganda.[11][1][8][4][12][13] His job title was changed to the Chief People and Culture Officer on 01 July 2022.[1][8][4]
In 2021, Owor became a board member of the Industrial Training Council (ITC).[14][15]
Owor is serving as an alternate director on the Board of directors of the Sprout Capital Investment.[3] He is a member of the Finance, Human Resource and Administration Committee for the Federation of Uganda Employers.[16] He is a member of the League of East Africa Directors (LEAD).[3]
Owor is the president of Rotary Club of Kampala Maisha.[6][17]
