Micky Singh Narula is an Indian composer, playback singer and performer who works predominantly in Indian cinema. He has composed theme music for TV serials like Udaan, Sabki Laadli Bebo, Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Ranbir Rano, Maayka and others.[2][3]

Early life and education edit

Micky Singh Narula was born on December 16, 1969, to Kesar Singh Narula[4] who was a music composer of the 1950s. He is the brother of playback singer Jaspinder Narula.[5] He did his secondary schooling from Guru Harkrishan Public School and high school from Green fields Public School, Delhi. Thereafter he went to Kirori Mal College, Delhi University for his degree course.

Career edit

Narula, with his father started working for labels such as T-series, HMV, Sonoton, among others at a young age. His singing career began when Pran bestowed upon him the title of 'Master Mickey' after his rendition of 'Khaike Paan Banaras Wala' on stage at the age of just eight. In 2006, Narula composed music for Hollywood film The Gold Bracelet which was directed by Indian-born British filmmaker Kavi Raz. Later he has composed music for Bollywood movies and Hindi television werials. He is also into social services with his foundation Micky Narula Karmik Foundation. Along with this,Mystic Music Healing is his initiative aimed at healing people through the power of music.[6][7][8]
