Michael Burger (born June 10, 1957) is an American actor and comedian, but is better known for hosting game shows.
Game Shows
Burger's first national hosting job began in September 1991 when he was picked to host Personals, an adult-themed game show that ran on CBS' late night schedule until December 1992. He later hosted the second season of Family Channel's Family Challenge in 1996, replacing first-season host Ray Combs who had committed suicide that year. He later hosted the syndicated late-90s version of Match Game, which ran for one season. He also had a stint hosting the live stage show The Price Is Right Live!.[1]
Other Shows
From 1994 to 1996, Burger co-hosted Mike and Maty, a daytime talk show on ABC. He then co-hosted The Home and Family Show with Cristina Ferrare, a two-hour show that was broadcast on the Family Channel from June 3, 1996, to August 14, 1998.
Burger is currently the warmup comedian for the original TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland.
