Should we look at this being $1 - Revision history? I'm wondering about how it is sorted in browser histories and that it might be better to have the history entry next to the article entry. It's only a minor point though, and I don't really feel that strong about it. violet/riga (t) 21:27, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh, and it might be better when using tabbed browsing or when showing the title in the taskbar. violet/riga (t) 21:29, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
I don't want it to be dashed in that way, though the current "title" format could be improved and made more consistent: the edit page, for example, uses 'Editing [whatever page]' rather than 'Editing "[whatever page]"'. I really want to get rid of those quotation marks. Nihiltres(t.l) 00:22, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
My recommendation of the dash is so that it supports " - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - [browser]", but that might lead to too many dashes. I thought about putting it in brackets but that would clash with disambiguated articles. I agree that the quotation marks stand out too much and are inconsistent with our normal style. violet/riga (t) 10:02, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
In terms of being consistent with our usual style, a simple removal of the quotation marks might suffice - I would recommend that for now. As for the title dashing, yes, that would be a little too much, though granted, I can't appreciate that aspect since both of my browsers (Firefox and Safari, both on Mac OS X) display only page titles at the top of windows.
