MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) is a medical college, affiliated with NTR University of Health Sciences. It is in Medchal mandal, 30 kilometers from Hyderabad, in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
It served as the primary treatment center for casualties during the 25 August 2007 Hyderabad bombings at Lumbini Park.[4][5]
History
The college is a tertiary-education initiative under Science Health Allied-Research and Education (SHARE), a non-governmental organization founded in 1985.[6]
Hospital
The original cardiothoracic specialty hospital established in 1992 today functions as a general-practice facility as well as a teaching hospital for the college.
