Ledoyen is one of the oldest restaurants in Paris, long considered to be one of the finest restaurants in the world. It is uniquely situated in the square gardens in the eastern part of the of the Champs-Élysées in the 8th arrondissement. It has been one of many French restaurants with three Michelin stars for over a decade, but unlike many other three star restaurants, it is inexpensive.
Paul Bocuse is the owner and head chef of his famous restaurant in Lyon. The restaurant has served a traditional menu for decades. Bocuse is considered an ambassador of modern French Cuisine and was honored in 1961 with the title Meilleur Ouvrier de France. He had been apprenticed to Fernand Point, a master of classic French cuisine; and Bocuse dedicated his first book to him.

Carrying three Michelin stars since 2004, De Librije is one of just two restaurants on the list of 106 from The Netherlands. One of the restaurant's most unique traits is its location, found in the former library, hence the name "De Librije", of a 15th century Dominican abbey.
