Le jeune homme de sable (The Young Sandman) is a 1979 novel by Williams Sassine. The novel follows Oumarou, a young African young man, revolting against the older generation.[1][2][3]
Sassine uses symbolism and allegorical dreams to comment on the story.[4][5]
