Career

edit

Around 2007, she began her career as a graffiti artist with her childhood friends on the streets.[3] This resulted in a challenging time for her, culminating in placement in a youth correctional facility at the age of seventeen, where she continued her drawing. Upon reintegration into society at the age of eighteen, she embarked on a new path by pursuing studies in Art & Design. She began her coursework in 2015 and attended the Willem de Kooning Academy for one year in 2016. In 2018, she created an eight-story mural depicting rapper Winne on Kruisplein in Rotterdam.[4] Her artwork frequently explores themes of social disparity and inequity.

In 2021, one of de Leeuw's artworks sold for $2.9 million in cryptocurrency. She donated 33% of the proceeds, to charity.[5][6]
