Juan Cabral, (born 1978) is well-known, Argentine, film director known for directing several internationally-renowned television commercials, such as the Cadbury's 'Gorilla' advert and Sony Bravia's 'Paint', 'Balls' & 'Rabbits' advert. He currently works with the production company MJZ.
Cabral started out studying graphic design and painting at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina before beginning his career working for Agulla & Baccetti, where he worked on advertisements for HSBC, Sprite and Renault. After this, he joined advertising agency Mother where he worked on adverts for The Observer and Orange.
In 2004 Cabral moved to London and joined Fallon, producing the Cadbury's 'Gorilla' advert and the Sony Bravia series. In 2011 Cabral left Fallon to join MJZ after returning to Argentina in 2008 and is currently a commercial film director.
