Jehangir Wadia, also known as Jeh Wadia, is an Indian businessman belonging to the Wadia family. He is the managing director of GoAir, a budget airline which he founded, and of Bombay Dyeing, a textile company.[1][2] He is also the great-grandson of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founding father of Pakistan.[3]
He is the son of textile and real estate magnate Nusli Wadia and Maureen Wadia. He was educated at the Lawrence School, Sanawar.[4] In 2004, he established the budget airline GoAir based in Mumbai and is currently managing director.[1]
The World Economic Forum elected him as a Young Global leader in the year 2008.Wadia also leads Bombay Realty, the Wadia group's Real Estate venture.
He has an elder brother Ness Wadia, who heads the Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation and co-owns the IPL Team Kings XI Punjab. Wadia appeared in the 2009 drama-documentary The Age of Stupid.
