High school career edit

Marshall attended Miami Palmetto High School in Pinecrest, Florida, where he played both offense and defense but was primarily recruited as a corner.[2] As a senior he helped Palmetto reach the semi-finals of the state playoffs.[3] Following his senior season he was invited to the Under Armour All-American Bowl.[2] A five-star prospect ranked the nations #3 cornerback recruit, he committed to play college football at the University of Florida over offers from Clemson, Miami and Alabama.[4][5][6]

College career edit

Marshall entered his collegiate career as a highly anticipated player, garnering praise from Florida secondary coach Wesley McGriff for his performance in summer practice.[7] As a freshman in 2021, Marshall would start five games, allowing a completion percentage of 36.8%, the second lowest of any corner in the country.[8] As a sophomore he started all 13 games for the Gators, recording eight pass breakups, 29 tackles and an interception.[9]
