Hyposaurus is a genus of extinct dyrosaurid crocodyliform. Fossils have been found in Paleocene aged rocks of the Maria Farinha Formation in Pernambuco, Brazil[1] and Iullemmeden Basin in West Africa[2] and Maastrichtian strata in New Jersey.[3] It was related to Dyrosaurus.
