Oppose Burmese is Indic, but has specific problems not common to Indic scripts, like the encoding models. -- Prince Kassad (talk) 19:35, 1 January 2008 (UTC) Oppose I agree. Although it is Indic, its problems are very specific, because it is so new to Unicode. 71.239.20.13 (talk) 18:20, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

New template edit

I created a new template: {{lang-my-Mymr}}, for Burmese written in Burmese script, rather than Latin. I used the template on this page, and it now displays correctly in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I edited the page using the graphite-enabled version of Firefox. 71.239.20.13 (talk) 18:20, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

When I come across Burmese on English Wikipedia, I cannot read it, I only get the 'Unicode boxes'. However, when I'm on the Burmese Wikipedia, the Burmese scripts displays wonderfully well. What might be the reason that Burmese script doesn't display on English Wikipedia? V85 (talk) 12:54, 8 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Same problem, and I can see Burmese fine on my computer as well. Looks like we won't get any answers here. — kwami (talk) 03:24, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
