Grouptherapy (stylized as grouptherapy.) is an American music collective founded in 2019. The group consists of former child entertainers Jadagrace, Tyrel J. Williams, and Coy Stewart. The group was formed after the three former actors became disillusioned with the American TV and film industry.[1] They have released one studio album, I Was Mature for My Age, but I Was Still a Child, one mixtape, There Goes the Neighborhood, as well as two EPs, Truth Be Told and This is Not the Album.[2][3][4][5]

Formation edit

Grouptherapy was formed in 2019, arising from the members' fatigue and disappointment with their previous experiences in entertainment. Their music explores themes of creative disillusionment, financial struggle, rejection of consumerism, and self-empowerment.[1]

The three members of Grouptherapy all have extensive backgrounds in the entertainment industry.

Jadagrace edit

Jadagrace had signed a major record deal while in middle school. She appeared in the 2009 film Terminator Salvation, as well as releasing multiple singles.[1]

Tyrel J. Williams edit

Tyrel J. Williams, also known as "TJW" and "TJOnline" starred as Leo Dooley in the Disney XD series Lab Rats as well as the 2014 Disney XD television film Pants on Fire.[1] He has been described as a "somber and resolute" rapper.[1] On March 20, 2024, It was announced that Williams split from Grouptherapy.

Coy Stewart edit

Coy Stewart, also known as "KOI" and "SWIM" was a child actor on networks like Nickelodeon and TBS. He was also known for starring in the music video for the 2017 Logic song "1-800-273-8255".[1]
