"Foolish Lullaby" is a song by Laura Branigan from her fourth studio album Hold Me. It was written by Jack White and Mark Spiro.

Paul Anka and Celine Dion version

The song was covered in 1998 as a duet between Paul Anka and Céline Dion for Anka's A Body of Work album. This version has completely new lyrics written by Anka and is titled "It's Hard to Say Goodbye". It was released as a promotional single on September 14, 1998 in the United States.

Céline Dion and Paul Anka recorded earlier a bilingual version, in which Dion sings in Spanish and Anka in English. Entitled "Mejor Decir Adios," it was included on Paul Anka's Amigos album, released on July 30, 1996. Adrian Posse and Humberto Gatica wrote the Spanish lyrics.

Paul Anka also had a duet with Regine Velasquez of the song and was released for the Asian market.
