Florisse Adjanohoun (born 1971) is a Beninese film actor and playwright.

She received a lifetime tribute, during the 2021 Carthage Theater Days.

Florisse Adjanohoun was born in 1971 in Cotonou[1]

She dramatized the stories Atakoun and La rescapée which were performed on several national and international stages  . She collaborated a long time with the “Wassangari” theater. She wrote the dramatized tale Atakoun in 1998  . Atakoun has been presented on numerous stages, notably in 1999 at the Carthage theater days in Tunisia,[2] at the Rencontres cinématographies et numériques de Cotonou (ReTIC), and at the Benin Golden Awards .[3] In the 2000s, she wrote her other dramatized tale The Survivor, which enjoyed great success in the world of theater, particularly in West Africa  .

She subsequently created her own company “Parole en scène”. In 2020, she played alongside Nathalie Hounvo Yèkpè at the Abidjan Performing Arts Market (MASA) and at the French Institute of Benin in the play 25 Décembre, written and directed by Didier Sèdoha Nassègandé .[4][5] In 2021, she performed in a show, at the French Institute with her stage companions, Les Monologues du vagina , a text written by Eve Ensler in the mid-90s  .[6]
