  Aberdeen 15th century – Banner of arms. The three towers represents the three hills (Aberdeen Castle on Castle Hill, the city gate on Port Hill, and a chapel on St Catherine's Hill). The fleurs-de-lis alludes to the royal coat of arms of Scotland.[2]
  Dundee 6 October 1932 – Banner of arms.[31]
  Edinburgh 1732 – Banner of arms. The flag depicts the Edinburgh Castle.[2][32] (Registered by the Flag Institute)[33]
  Glasgow 1866 – A banner of the city's coat of arms.
  Montrose A red rose on a white field.
  Stirling The Scottish flag defaced in the centre of the saltire with the red lion rampant from the Scottish royal banner, with two caltraps in the upper and lower sections, and two spur-rowels in the left and right sections.
