There is no evidence that Portmahomack was the side of a Roman camp. The is only a vague speculation in one single publication from 1949. Archeological examinations of the site from 1994/95 consider the site as Pictish.--Kmhkmh (talk) 20:19, 2 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
