English: First Class Smoking Room on the 'Niagara' (1913)

Interior of the passenger liner 'Niagara' (1913) showing the First Class Smoking Room, on the Promenade Deck, a view looking across to port.

The First Class Smoking Room was loosely inspired by the Georgian style; the polished harewood panelling is visible. The photograph also shows the head of the stairs down to the Shelter Deck, and an arched doorway out to the First Class Promenade.

This is a copy negative made by Bedford Lemere & Co in July 1916; the original photographer is unknown.
