Ernest Winter (birth registered January→March 1910 (age 102–103) in Pontefract district[1]) is an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Featherstone Rovers, and Hunslet, as a Centre, i.e. number 2 or 4.
Playing career
International honours
Ernest Winter won a cap for England while at Featherstone Rovers in 1933 against Other Nationalities.[2]
Rugby Football League Championship final appearances
Ernest Winter played and scored a try in Hunslet's 8-2 victory over Leeds in the 1937-38 Rugby Football League Championship final at Elland Road on Saturday 30 April 1938.[3]
