Eretmocera impactella is a moth of the family Scythrididae. This species is known from Oman, United Arab Emirates, India, Sri Lanka, Taiwan Thailand and Pakistan.[1]

The forewings are blackish brown with more or less distinct whitish or white yellowish markings.[2]
Biology edit
The larvae feed on various Amaranthaceae species and other food plants.[3] The adults mate by fusing their ends together mostly during the daytime,they look like a Caterpillar with two heads(observation). When the adults sense danger they stop movement
