Dungeonborne is a first-person extraction RPG dungeon crawler.[3] The player character can be selected from seven distinct classes, and equipped with specialized gear.[citation needed] The player ventures into dungeons to battle monsters and enemy players.[citation needed] The player can build loadouts with weapons and armor to prepare for matches, but death during the game leads to a loss of all equipment. Successful runs let the player retain looted items for future expeditions or sell them.[citation needed]
