Drummond Cove is a coastal town located 12 kilometres (7 mi) north of Geraldton, Western Australia in the local government area of the City of Greater Geraldton.
The locality was gazetted in 1985.[2]
Demographics
At the 2006 census, Drummond Cove had a population of 759,[1] which represents a growth of 211 since the 2001 census.[3]
Drummond Cove residents had a median age of 36, and median incomes were above average for the region — $567 per week compared with $461 per week. The population of Drummond Cove was predominantly Australian-born - 79.3% as at the 2006 census - while 4.74% were born in the United Kingdom. 2.89% reported one or more parents of Italian birth.
