This article concerns only the rivalry as it relates to the trophy, first awarded in 1993. Reliable sources indicate the old name has usage and thus a descriptive name is not required.[1]. Relisted. - Oppose. The descriptive title better follows use in sources like these:[2][3] and [4], and is much more natural and recognizable to the lay reader than the fairly obscure trophy. It has been the trend at articles in Category:College football rivalries in the United States to use names like this rather than trophies or nicknames. This series only began in 1993,[5] which is why there's no material from before that.--Cúchullain t/c 16:03, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Not notable? edit
The idea that this rivalry is not notable, but that every single individual Pokémon character card is, is one of the biggest faults of Wikipedia. WHO CARES if this rivalry isn't notable to non-fans of American college football? Every single Pokémon card is not notable to non-fans of anime.
