Article name edit

This is a wonderful list! You may wish to rename this article the "List of flora in Colorado". Yours aye,  Buaidh  talk e-mail 19:18, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps. It is a bit of a botanist thing to call a list of all the plants in a place a "Flora of X". I am following the tradition of Flora of Great Britain and Ireland and Flora of Malta. Though on the other hand "List of X" is more Wikipedia style. One is easier for people already into plants and the other is better for people more used to the ways of Wikipedia. Though a redirect would be good once published. MtBotany (talk) 20:56, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Buaidh I had another thought. I could write an article about Flora of Colorado about the statistics and history of botany in Colorado and then have four separate list pages. "List of ferns and fern allies in Colorado", "List of gymnosperms in Colorado", "List of gramanoids in Colorado" and the current table I'm working on would be for all the other flowering plants. What do you think? No rush since completing what I'm working on now will probably take me a year. MtBotany (talk) 00:59, 9 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@MtBotany: That would certainly work. We could then have a page named "List of flora in Colorado" that would direct users to the four articles. Thank you so much for all your efforts. Yours aye,  Buaidh  talk e-mail 01:22, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
