Technology Media Conference, also known as TM CON is an annual technology and media conference organized by Technology Media Global with a goal of promoting innovation and empowerment.[1] Launched in 2022, the conference was created to equip and empower African creatives by providing them with knowledge, resources, and networking opportunities to thrive in the creative and technology industries.[1] TM CON speakers have included Chris Odeh, Bizzle Osikoya, Joshua Chibueze, Steve Gukas and M.I. Abaga. The conference has connected over 2,000 creators across the continent since its inception.[2][3]

The conference has held twice, first in 2022,[4] and second in 2023.[2]

2022: The Business of Creativity: From Passion to Profit edit

The first edition of TM CON was held on November 26, 2022, at the NAF Conference Center, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Nigeria, under the theme "The Business of Creativity: From Passion to Profit"[5][4].[6] The event attracted over 1,000 attendees and conversations with industry leaders in media and tech.[5][4][6]

2023: Reimagining Creativity edit

The second edition, themed "Reimagining Creativity", took place on November 11, 2023, at the Center-point Event Center in Abuja, Nigeria.[2][3] It was a hybrid event with both physical and online participation.[7][3][8] The event ended with the launch of a talent development platform, Digital Native Africa (DNA).[7][3][8]

The conference is organized by Technology Media (TM) Global, a media, communication and technology agency headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria.[2]
