Shalom Meckenzie (Hebrew: שלום מקנזי; Born June 12th, 1976) is an Israeli entrepreneur, and the largest individual shareholder in DraftKings.[1][2]
According to Forbes, as of 2024, Meckenzies' estimated worth is over 1.7 billion dollars.[3]

Shalom Meckenzie was born and raised in Israel. His father was a real estate entrepreneur, and his mother was a housewife. During his childhood years, Meckenzie moved with his family to reside in the US due to his father's business endeavors.[4][1]
Meckenzie has been developing technology infrastructure for the gambling industry since 2002. In 2003, he was one of the founders of 10bet LTD UK—an online gambling website.[5][6][7] In 2007, he founded SBTech, a tech company that developed gambling software for casinos, gambling websites, government lotteries, and more.[1] In 2020, SBTech had over 1200 employees, had offices in 11 locations, and operated in 15 regulated markets.[8][9] The company won an award for "Sports Betting Supplier of the Year" from Gaming Intelligence, a magazine that covers the gambling industry.[10]
In April 2020, SBTech completed a reverse merger involving DraftKings, an American daily fantasy sports contest and sports betting company, and Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp., a special-purpose acquisition company that went public in May 2019.[11][12] After the merger, Meckenzie became Draftkings' largest individual shareholder. [13][2] In 2020, former basketball player Michael Jordan joined Draftkings' board of advisors.[14][15] As of 2024, DraftKings is valued at 20 billion dollars in market cap.[16]
In 2021, Meckenzie purchased a Cryptopunks NFT from Sotheby's at 11.8 million dollars.[17] It was one of the ten most NFT's ever purchased.[18] In 2022, Meckenzie was one of the founders of Dminti, a platform that enables artists and industries to curate, produce, and position digital art.[19]

Meckenzie lives in Savyon, Israel. He is married with four children.[4][20][21][3]
