This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of websites). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Sauce News Kenya is website focused on politics, lifestyle, media, security, pop culture, climate, entertainment and sports founded in December 2022 by a group of journalists who saw a demand for native digital content.
The website was created during a lunch outing by a group of journalists who realised that from their decades experience in main stream media that there is a demand for content that is immediate, mobile friendly, interactive, hyper textual, visual and published in real time.
They also wanted to create a platform that is owned by journalists where they can practice their craft without being hindered by political or commercial interests like all the mainstream media houses in Kenya.
Sauce.co.ke began after months of deliberation as a Facebook Page in October 2022 before becoming a news website in December 2022.
The website produces daily content through contributors based across Kenya. Popular formats on the website include listicles, in depth content and easy reads. While sauce.co.ke was initially exclusively on such viral content, it has over time added more traditional content, building a track record for delivering breaking news as well as deeply reported articles
This model has rapidly gained popularity among news enthusiasts for its quick, verifiable and unmatched reporting. It also runs TikTok and YouTube pages.
Dubbed as Kenya’s fastest growing news website, Sauce.co.ke secured the 14th position in Feedspot’s prestigious top 25 Kenyan news websites list within its first year of operations[1].
Feedspot, curates content from various websites and podcasts. It boasts an impressive collection of over 250,000 websites and podcasts listed on its site.
With more than 120 million users visiting Feedspot lists and over 30 million users directed to publishers’ websites from these lists, it has become a reliable source for discovering quality content on the web.[2]
Rankings are based on traffic, relevancy, posting frequency, social media followers, engagement, domain authority, site’s age and Alexa web traffic rankings.
The website was also in the same month nominated as one of the finalists in the news websites of the year by the Pulse Influencer awards.
