Samuel Ben Owusu (born July 26, 1979) is a Ghanaian religious leader and Charismatic preacher, known for his contributions to peace advocacy. humanitarian work, and leadership in Ghana and beyond.

Samuel Ben Owusu was born July 26, 1979, in Adansi New Akrofuom, Ashanti Region, Ghana, the son of Philip Yaw Sakyi and Diana Bempomaa. He pursued his higher education at Benson Idahosa University, [1]earning a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Leadership, and later obtained Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Ministry Leadership Psychology from Northwestern University[2].

Owusu serves as the United Nations Eminent Peace Ambassador and Country Director for the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWP)..[3] He is the General Overseer of the Pottersville Church International, overseeing a network of over 32 branches in Ghana and around the World.[citation needed]

Peace advocate and humanitarian work edit

Owusu has initiated various campaigns such as the "Peace Power Campaign" [4] and "Every Life Counts Campaign, " emphasizing the importance of peace at all social levels [5]. He played a significant role in Ghana democratic development[6], including advising on the establishment of the Ghana Police Television station during the COVID-19 pandemic.[citation needed]
