Saint Edward Latin Catholic Church, Azhickal, Poovachal, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India PIN-695575 under Neyyattinkara Latin Diocese is the first and only Catholic church in the name of Saint Edward the confessor in India. The church was built in the year 1927. The present Parish Priest is Fr. Belavendram Soosai Pillai IC. Daily there is Holy Mass at 6am with Sunday Holy Mass at 8am and Saturday 7pm. Dr Joy John is the present Parish council Secretary. There are 60 Catholic families in this church with four Basic Christian Community (BCC) units. The church is with a nice Choir and with units of Little Way Association (LWA),Legion of Mary and Catechism.
