In 1984, he graduated from secondary school No. 69 in Yerevan. Graduated from Yerevan State Medical University[1].
In 1999-2002 he studied and graduated from S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy, Saint Petersburg [1].
Graduated from the Yerevan School of Political Studies (KDED)[1].
Work activity 1984-2002, worked at Yerevan State Medical University. 1992-2003, worked in the RA Armed Forces as a military doctor. Since 2004, he has been working at the Armenian Center for Political and International Studies. In 2010-2015, he worked at 1in.am news agency. Since 2015, he has been working at the Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs as an expert[1]. He is the author of more than a hundred analytical articles on political science topics. He mainly deals with the issues of Armenia's domestic and foreign policy, territorial security and development, the Artsakh conflict, as well as Armenian-Turkish, Armenian-Russian, Armenian-Ukrainian, Armenian-American, Armenia-NATO and Armenia-European Union relations [1].
