Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of websites). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

:REWRITTEN is an upcoming rising analog horror web-serIes by a small VR[1] Creator, BiteVR.[2] BiteVR was a casual VR YouTuber, making videos on games such as Gorilla Tag and Capuchin. Until, BiteVR decided to flip his own script and decided that he was gonna make an Analog Horror[3] Series along with his best mate, JJ (TheVoid). When BiteVR reached 400 subscribers, he said that he was "working" on something and would reveal an early draft/look to the public once he reached 500 subscribers. BiteVR posted this video at random. His recent success gave us far more than just a sneak peek; he clearly hit it big. And to our surprise, His "Rewritten" series, on which he is currently working, gave us the first episode titled "orange.wmv: rewritten"[4] on August 23rd 2023. As he was developing orange.wmv, he stated that he didn't think that the video would expand so quickly. Let alone almost 100k views.
"While I was editing this in art class, I never thought that it would grow so much, the support on it was crazy and that alone made me want to keep doing it. See where it goes, yknow?" -BiteVR
How It All Started: edit
After BiteVR and TheVoid saw the massive success on orange.wmv, they knew they couldn't stop there. So they decided to make Rewritten into a form of an ARG.[5] They developed and wrote an entire story behind the episodes the viewers watch. As BiteVR and Void wrote the story, BiteVR got a message from someone willing to help, 642. BiteVR was a bit skeptical at first, but after making "jeff the killer: rewritten",[6] he decided to give 642, a shot on Episode 3. BiteVR worked very close with NomswaeVR to write and develop the Ben Drowned episode with the help of 642. After the script was finished, waited and waited and waited until, 642 presented his take on "Ben Drowned" and BiteVR was blown away. He was very excited to show the public Episode 3. He made a short teaser for Ben Drowned titled "oh, the tragedy."[7] and on the 30th of September 2023, BiteVR released "ben drowned: rewritten"[8] out for the world to see. As of 10th January 2024, Ben Drowned has 1.1k views. After Ben Drowned, BiteVR picked Herobrine as his next Episode. During his holidays, BiteVR immediately started working on the Herobrine script while Ben Drowned was set as a premiere. And after a lot of drafts, BiteVR finally wrote the perfect script. He wanted Herobrine to be the best episode yet. After handing the script to 642, he made a short teaser called "brother?" That follows Herobrine getting contact with his brother, Notch. then a release date. 14th December 2023. After releasing Episode 4, BiteVR made a secret link. A link that leads to a secret video titled "unless."[9]
"Yeah, it was really challenging. The episode wasn't halfway done and we had to release it in a span of 20 days. It got so bad, I was editing in class once and my teacher caught me, haha." -BiteVR
BiteVR announced on his X that LyraHorrorz, creator of RADAR and a famous face in the analog horror community will be voicing The Lich in the future episodes of ":Rewritten" She stated that she is really excited to voice the Lich, as she was waiting quite some time for an opportunity to show off that deep, raspy voice. And based on Lyra's take on him, this episode will be good. And on the 10th of February 2024, BiteVR officially hit 1,000 on his channel. and to celebrate, he showed us a teaser for Act V called "beautiful boy"[10] symbolizing that Act V - The Lich is very close.
"I gathered a lot of people for this project, who knows maybe even ReachAnimations might help." -BiteVR
Rewritten Lore: edit
Everything dates back to the year 2003. Gerald and Johnny Dockfield are two brothers who received approval by the government for Project "Better World". They successfully completed their mission, which was to secure every strange entity in the state of Colorado Springs. The ERC (Entity Recover Contain) prison took two years to plan and construct. It was completed in 2005. And so the process of kidnapping began. Jeffery Woods, often known as Jeff the Killer, was the very first to be apprehended; he was held captive for ten years without access to the outside world. And as more and more entities entered, including Ben, Orange, and Herobrine. A tragedy occurred on September 18, 2015. When Andrew Batch, a teenager, discovered the orange.wmv DVD. He explains that he received a DVD from the seller, Steven Bardot, and that this was an excellent match because his YouTube channel is dedicated to mysterious DVDs. When he first opens the DVD, he finds that it's just an ordinary clip of the Annoying Orange. Still, it doesn't take long for things to go south. It cuts to Amazing Grace while he watches, and Orange looks directly into his soul. Despite growing frightened, Andrew keeps watching for the sake of the channel. till he is no longer able to do it. The DVD Player refuses to let him eject the disc despite his attempts. The orange's pupils begin to fade in as the DVD closes with a loud ringing sound. Everything turns dark. When Andrew hears a knock on his front door, he is still in his dark room. The scene shifts to Andrew lying in bed, filming the door as it knocks. "W-Who are you?" He states. Later on, it is discovered that Ben and Jeffrey are hiding behind the door and brutally murder Andrew. As if they were ordered to. Jeff's eyes are fixed on Andrew's corpse. Jeff hears two voices calling out to him at once. Like an angel and a devil squabbling over what Jeff did, right there on your shoulder. The wicked side represents Jeff's disdain of society, while the nice side represents the spirit of his late mother that he slaughtered in his own hands. The more he looks at Andrew's decomposing body, the more he laughs uncontrollably. In the second episode, Jeffery is being questioned by Officer Batch, the sheriff of the Colorado State Police. Until Jeffery disappears from his seat and the lights begin to flicker. It was after his escape from ERC that he killed Andrew. Episode 3 is set on September 25, 2015, one week after Andrew's passing (Episode 2 is a precursor). where Matt, Jadusable's roommate, is questioned by Officer Batch. (Jadusable is the guy who experienced the Ben Drowned ARG.) It is revealed to the audience that Andrew is Officer Batch's son when Matt finishes explaining the Jadusable narrative and Officer Batch says, "Andrew, Andrew Batch." Then, as BEN throws open his bedroom door, Andrew screams in a loud jumpscare. The beginning of Episode 4 lacks Rewritten Lore. However, the story starts when Gerald drives to work to fill in for his brother Johnny. Gerald and his wife are speaking on the phone. The picture turns to Jeff's two voices conversing again as he arrives at ERC. (Evil Side = Underline)
"Now is your chance, Jeff."
"What chance?"
"To kill the man who locked you up here in the first place."
"But-"
"Don't 'but' me. You heard the boss. Kill the target."
"What's gotten into you? You have lost your mind."
"Lost my mind? I'm trying to not get us killed, you fucking moron. It's one simple order. Kill Dockfield."
"Fine, I'll do it myself."
Jeff proceeds to break out of his cell with a can of gasoline and matches. He lights Gerald's Office on fire. Leaving Dockfield burning by his own prisoners in his own establishment.
BiteVR stated that more will be revealed in Act V and so on.
