In 2022 Fisken was the Youth Representative for Nicole McKee in the 10th New Zealand Youth Parliament where he was subject to controversy following the mass walkout of Youth MPs during his speech on firearms law reforms[5][6].
The following year, Fisken ran unsuccessfully as a candidate in the Christchurch Central Electorate for ACT New Zealand.[7][3]
