Submission declined on 22 December 2023 by Fermiboson (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of websites). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by Fermiboson 5 months ago. |
- Comment: It is not clear what reliable, secondary, independent sources have covered the topic at all. Fermiboson (talk) 12:31, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
Mahazael (In "The Book of Abramelin" The name Mahazael is listed to mean "The Devourer") is one of Hell’s “Four Principle Princes’’ of Perdition, In art, Mahazael is portrayed as both Masculine and Feminine, Mahazael is tasked with blighting crops, plants, and all natural beauty.
In Classification of demons, Mahazael is listed as a demonic prince presiding over the element of earth. Mahazael also appears as a ruler of this element in the 1505 Faustbuch.
References to Mahazael can be found in various occult texts, grimoires, and demonological literature, often within the context of demonology and the hierarchy of infernal entities.
