James Jakób Liszka (b. 1950) is Senior Scholar at the Institute of Ethics in Public Life and Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at the State University of New York, University at Plattsburgh, where he also served as Provost from 2011-2017. He is also Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and was Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences from 2005 to 2011.
