Founded in 2020 by mechanical engineer Jonathan Mousdell, civil engineer Jordan Mills, and software engineer Yujin Wu, h2x provides "engineers with intuitive, helpful tools" within their software. Their overall mission is to "improve the building services engineering industry".[2]

h2x is a software suite that includes tools for various tasks related to HVAC system design and analysis, such as heat loss and gain calculations, duct design, pipe sizing, energy analysis, and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR)[3]. The company provide their users with training and support services to help with the software.
