Feast & Fettle is a vertically-integrated meal-delivery service based in East Providence, RI. The company prepares all meals in-house and delivers them fully cooked.[1]

As of January 2024, the company delivers to zip codes in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, New Jersey and New York.[2]

History edit

Maggie Pearson, a former private chef and nanny, founded Feast & Fettle in 2016 with Nicole Nix. They started the company to provide time-saving meal solutions for busy families.[3] Feast & Fettle uses its own drivers and refrigerated vans for delivery, ensuring meals stay fresh.[4]

Carlos Ventura became CEO in 2018.[5]

By 2022, the company was among the top 2% of Inc. 5000's Fastest Growing Private Companies.[6]

In 2023, they expanded into retail with a location in Pawtucket, RI[7] An upcoming site is forthcoming in Cambridge, MA in 2024.[8] At the Fridge, customers can purchase fully-prepared meals as offered in Feast & Fettle's core meal-delivery service—as well as snacks and beverages. The Fridge also carries the Class B Victualer Liquor License and offers a selection of wine and beer.[9]

Awards & Recognitions edit

Feast & Fettle was named Best of Boston's #1 Meal-Delivery Service in 2022[10] and 2023,[11] as well as Best Meal Delivery of 2023 by Greenwich Lifestyle.[12] In 2023, they were also awarded by the Association of Fundraising Professionals for their philanthropy.[13] And the same year, Feast & Fettle Fridge won Best of Rhode Island's Market to Watch for Grab-and-Go Meals.[14]

Philanthropy edit

The company donates $1 from every order to Edesia—a Rhode Island non-profit that distributes therapeutic food to treat child malnutrition worldwide.[15] They also support nonprofits focusing on services like cancer support, LGBTQ+ advocacy, birth justice, and suicide prevention.[16]

Recycling edit

Feast & Fettle operates a container return program in partnership with TerraCycle. Members return clean containers to be recycled. Meals are not packaged in disposable boxes but in reusable freezer tote bags and ice packs, which are also returned, sanitized, and reused.[17]

Feast & Fettle meals are packed using freezer tote bags and ice packs—which drivers pick up as well to be sanitized and reused on future deliveries.[18]
