Ervin Demo is the current mayor of Berat Municipality in Albania.[1][2]

Ervin Demo has earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration and Management and Marketing at the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom. In 2010, he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Tirana, specializing in Crisis Management, and later conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Bologna.[3]

Demo holds the title of Associate Professor, Ervin Demo started his career in 2004 as a full-time academic in the Management Department at the Economics Faculty of the University of Tirana. Between 2008 and 2017, Demo held leadership positions at the University of Tirana, serving as Director of Foreign Relations, Vice-Dean, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and International Relations, and Head of the Administration Board.[4][5]
In 2017, Ervin Demo was Deputy Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. [6]
In August 2019, he was elected mayor of Berat Municipality, securing re-election in the May 14, 2023 elections for his second mandate, spanning from 2023 to 2027.[7][8]
